Moores Interiors is an interior design practice that specialises in soft furnishings, established over 70 years ago with 4 generations of experience in upholstery and handmade curtains.

Our mission is to take the word ‘bespoke’ to another level in the market.

We understand that getting the right sofa can be difficult, with limited ‘off the shelf’ options available so we offer something totally unique.

Our one to one, design led bespoke sofa service allows us to understand our clients’ needs and create a sofa that ticks all the boxes at sensible prices, not overpriced designer prices.




Martin Moore Director

Martin is the third generation of the family to work at Moores. When you meet him you’ll witness his experience, passion and exuberance and understand why Moores has flourished.

James Moore

James is the 4th Generation of the family to work at Moores. His knowledge and passion for interiors will simply amaze you. James has gradually taken over the running of Moores and carries on the family tradition.

Sue Taylor Secretary / Superwoman

Sue joined Moores Interiors in 1993. Her knowledge is unsurpassed. Sue is the real backbone of the company. Sue is warm, friendly and incredibly professional. You’ll love Sue!

Philip Siniak Workshop Foreman / Master Upholsterer

Phil has been with Moores Interiors over 30 years and is our longest-serving member of staff. He was originally trained by Martin’s father and his expertise will guarantee your complete satisfaction.

Over the last eight years Neil has helped Moores achieve great things. He has fantastic attention to detail and always remains calm under pressure. He ensures your experience with Moores is relaxing.

Claire Chaplin BA (Hons) Executive Designer

Claire joined Moores Interiors in 1999. Claire is a talented designer and has completed a fantastic portfolio of work for us. Her specialist skills are in understanding of colour and texture. Claire inspires the most fabulous work.

Anastasia Duggan BSc BA. Architectural / Executive Designer

Anastasia trained as both an architect as well as interior designer – a unique combination. Anastasia is Russian and brings an international flavour to our work. Her commitment to Moores clients is boundless.

Hayley joined Moores Interiors in 2010 as a member of our design team. Hayley is vibrant, enthusiastic, full of passion and aspiring to be the best.

Working With Moores Interiors - 4 Easy Steps

1. Telephone Consultation

The sofa design process starts with a simple phone call. Our friendly team of expert designers will talk you through the options and offer advice if needed.

No switchboards or machines – just helpful and knowledgeable people.

2. Unique Home Consultation

A home visit enables us to better understand your lifestyle and make recommendations relating to size, style and fabric that will complement your existing décor.

During your home visit, we will take details of room dimensions and take photographs so that once we are back in our studio, we can progress to the design stage with all of the necessary information.

3. Sofa Design

Once we have come up with some initial concepts, we will invite you to our showroom to review our designs. This part of the process enables you to not only choose your fabric, but also enables you test a variety of design elements and make informed decisions on aspects such as sofa height and depth, cushion density and other finishing touches.

4. Guaranteed Comfort

Customer satisfaction is at the heart of what we do. To ensure that we create your perfect sofa, you are invited to our workshop to approve the style and comfort of your sofa before we apply the material. If you would like to make the cushions firmer or softer, we will happily make those changes for you.
